…and painted it with new color-understanding! :) I`m pretty satisfied with the result but there are still areas like the shirt and the arms that doesn`t look right.

I played around with different brushes in photoshop and after a hour I got this…

…I thought “Schaumlatex is a Hund!”

After several foam latex casts with zombian results I desided to make another mold. I guessed that the problem had something to do with the silicon mould, so I made one out of fibreglass resin. The mould was a success, but the results were the same, as you can see. I can`t tell which puppet came out from the new mould but the fact is that they are shit.

Luckily I had an expert who thaught me something about the chemical reactions within the mould. Equipped with this new wisdom I tried it again and got much better results. I still have to make some experiments but now I`m pretty optimistic that everything will work out fine….some day!

…I made a great discovery!

I found out, that “Kitsch” is also used in the english language. But of course this has nothing to do with todays picture.

After 3 hours and no plan what to do next I placed this picture in my “still need practise” folder.

…I tried a portrait…

The inital sketch was about 5×5 mm. Then I made a bigger sketch as you can see here.

From this point on I worked the whole thing out in photoshop. My grandfather saw the picture and told me that he would look like Rasputin. So I googled Rasputin and tatatata, he had a beard too! :) So I name this guy Rasputin Junior.
